Accessibility guides

Accessible guides for businesses

Support that meets you where you are

At Spectrum of Support, we believe in making environments as accessible as possible - especially for those with ADHD, autism, sensory sensitivities, and other neurodivergent needs.

Our Accessibility Guides are designed to break down barriers, reduce overwhelm, and create smoother everyday experiences for everyone.

What Are Accessibility Guides?
Accessibility Guides are practical, easy-to-use documents that offer:
-Clear explanations of potential sensory, emotional, and communication barriers
-Step-by-step suggestions to reduce those barriers
-Customisable strategies for travel, businesses and events
-Visual supports and templates for routines, transitions, and expectations
- Sonic wave diagrams can be added for noise sensitivity

Each guide is created with neurodivergent individuals in mind - but they benefit everyone.

Topics Include:
- Preparing for new environments (like school, dentist, holidays)
- Sensory-friendly visits
- Visual schedules and emotion check-ins
- ADHD-friendly organisation strategies
- Reducing overwhelm during transitions

Custom Versions Available
We can tailor the guide to suit any business, event, space or agency.

Every guide is shaped by lived experience. A panel of ASD and neurodivergent people assess the guides. They are grounded in evidence-based support from speech and language therapy, ADHD coaching and counselling practice.

Always with compassion and clarity at the core.

Because accessibility isn't optional - it's essential.

DFDS award winning Ferry operator

Testimonal,

“Working with Jenny at Spectrum of Support has been invaluable in helping DFDS develop neurodivergent accessibility guides for our Dover–France routes. Following a successful collaboration and in line with best practice, we extended the approach to our Jersey routes, which has reinforced our commitment to improving accessibility and providing more inclusive experiences for all customers across our network. Jenny’s expertise, along with her professional and friendly approach, made the process comfortable and easy to engage with throughout. Her input has helped us identify and break down potential barriers within the customer journey, and develop clearer, more practical guidance for customers who may experience sensory sensitivities or other barriers related to neurodivergence. This collaboration has strengthened DFDS’ approach to accessibility and supporting customers who may benefit from additional assistance when travelling, helping to improve the overall customer experience. We hope there will be further opportunities to continue improving accessible travel for all.”
